SHANNON WAGNER:
Shannon brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Life Patterns, Inc. board.  Shannon worked as a Personal Care Attendant to earn money for college.  She is now a C.P.A. employed at Security Benefit.  Her experiences in both of these areas qualifies her as a person with business experience and hands-on experience.

KATHY RAMIREZ:
Kathy also worked as a Personal Care Attendant as she attended college and became a Registered Nurse.  She is now employed at Lawrence Memorial Hospital in the Intensive Care Unit.  Like Shannon, these two expereices make her a perfect board member.

LEE SCHWARTZ:
Lee worked for over 25 years in Topeka as the Manager of Carpet One.  He is now retired.  His years in the business world have proven invaluable to Life Patterns as the organization grows.

JOYCE APPERSON:
Joyce is the parent of a young man with Down Syndrome.  She has navigated the disability system and understands the rewards and challenges involved in parenting a person with a disability.  Joyce is employed by MicroChip so she also lends an understanding of the business world.

DONNA PASHMAN:
Donna has worked at Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Kansas 22 for years.  Her experience in the insurance business is truly beneficial to Life Patterns given the many changes going on with managed care in Kansas and other changes in the health care industry.  Donna also has a daughter who is working as a Direct Service Worker so she understands that aspect of the services that Life Patterns provides.
